It's wonderful you are restoring Termite Hall! I grew up in Mobile(on Dauphin St) and I moved back three years ago. I'm beginning my MFA in Creative writing(low-res) this Spring and I'll continue living in Mobile. I most definitely want to meet more locals who love literature(the reading, writing and gabbing of it). I don't know how recently you moved to town or if you've been here a while, but I'd love to meet you and help out with the remodeling if you need an extra hand. I've got some other fun literary friends, I'm sure would also love to help out for this cause:)
